🦉Echoes of Barovia and Exandria, what have I been up to?
Inspired Friday!
Why inspired?
Well, you've sent me lots of great ideas for your custom dice sets. I can't wait to get started on these projects and create unique designs for you.
The five spots I had available are now filled, but since I don't want to leave anyone out, I'm going to open two more last-minute spots for those who missed out. Keep in mind that I'm closing orders today, January 23, at 11:59 p.m.
Yesterday I replied to everyone who sent me a message, so keep an eye on your inbox. If you wrote to me and haven't received a reply, give me another nudge. As I said last week, this magician doesn't get on well with new technologies.
The Curse of Irene
But I've also been very creative this week, because one of my New Year's resolutions is to make time for drawing.
This was one of my biggest frustrations last year. When you have your own brand, there are sometimes a thousand things that seem much more important than drawing, and it gets put off... forever.
But no more! My arm complete again, and I'm back with two drawings that had been on hold for too long.

This is what Saul has encountered at home this week.
The first has to do with a certain vampire who has been terrorizing my friends for a year now and, from what you've told me, has also kept many of you awake at night. It won't be the only thing I do on this topic this year, but it's a good appetizer to whet your appetite.
The second, I already hinted at last week, and it was inevitable. I've really enjoyed the Mighty Nein season. It's been a pleasure to finally see them in action and hear the voices of Critical Role again. I had a hard time choosing a scene or a character, so I took the plunge and drew them all (shock therapy for my fear of drawing faces).
Want to see them? Then keep reading.
A spell with two parts
Come on, I won't keep you waiting any longer. Here they are.

You may have noticed something strange, these drawings are missing something, and you're right.
They're not finished. You'll have to wait until next week to see the final result and find it in the store with a special little gift for subscribers.
Today I'm showing you the first part of my creative process, where I draw with pencils and ink. This allows me to create organically and intuitively, playing with textures and happy accidents while maintaining an overall perspective of the drawing. But let's say they remain in a sketch state.

RIP my pencil. You did a great job.
At this point in the drawing, I find many things that need fixing that ink does not allow me to do. And that's where I jump into the world of Photoshop, where I can experiment and polish details without fear of ruining the solid foundation I've created on paper.
Next week you'll see the glow up with the control possibilities that digital drawing gives me, and you'll have both prints available on the website with a little launch gift. What could it be?
In the meantime, I'm very curious to know what other things you'd like to have a print of mine.
Bountiful quests and sucessful rolls!
