Fungi inside emerald caves
Do they grow there?
Frenetic Friday, adventurer!
In your innumerable travels you have surely encountered powerful creatures.
Dragons, capable of destroying entire cities with their breath.
Manticores that could destroy entire armies with a dingle drop of their poison.
Grypphons that rip apart obsidian with their claws.
However, power does not only come for your ability to destroy.
Today I want to tell you about a creature I think is as paowerful as the ones above, or even more.
Also, they are not mythological.
Adapt and persist
As I was saying above, power does not only come from your ability to destroy.
It also comes form your resilience and your numbers.
From your ability to appear and adapt to any place.
To thrive.
In this field, there’s a creature that is an absolute expert.
From the humid forestos to Antarctica’s Valleys.
From the depths of the sea to the heights of Mount Everest.
From the rotten lemon in your fridge to your flat’s walls.
It’s impossible to ignore how powerful fungi are.
A silent colonization

In the videogame Avowed, what appears to be fungical infection ends up having godly implications.
I think the power of these organisms is clear.
Even if a dragon comes and burns the city, these beings would be one of te first to rise from the ashes.
If the manticore poisons the army, fungi will feed on the corpses.
And whan the dragon, the manticore and the gryphon are all dead, fungi will take care fo their carcasses.
It’s a bit dark, I know. But it’s also an opportunity to appreciate their importance on the ecosystmem.
Everything gets repurposed and converted in delicious and nutritive mushrooms for the adventurers. At least if you can tell which ones are edible!
THis is whay fungi are ascinating to me, and I think they are underused in fantsy worlds and fiction in general.
(Well, aside from THe Last of Us, of course)
So, I’ve been wondering…
How could I hold the power of fungi in my hands?

It looks like small fungi growing inside the die, don’t you think?
I’ve created a dice set inspired by and idea I find fascinating.
An emerald cave, with fungi growing inside.
I’d say bilogically it doesn’t make much sense, but… how far could fungi go in a fantasy world?
If you look closely, this dice set is a portal into this idea.
Getting inside the cave.
Esploring around every nook and cranny.
Becoming hypnotized by the languid shapes of the fungi.
And then, when you are finished admiring it, throwing them and trusting their power.

Your small collection of fungal gems.
I want them now!
Then, you are in luck.
The Wandering Vault has come to your door filled with these and many more magical designs.
The portal to the store will be closing its doors this Sunday 27th at 23:59.
Don’t wait on them, as sets are starting to sell out.
Or this idea will take hold on your head. Growing, like a fungal colony…
Bountiful quests and successfull rolls!

P.S: Remember. Next time The Wandering Vault opens again, the price of dice sets will be higher.
