Strahd vs Mighty Nein: epic art and a special gift

Friday at last!

This week we're here to settle our debts.

In previous posts, I teased you with the new illustrations I've been working on.

Well, keep reading, because today I'm going to show you the final results and tell you how and where you can get prints of them. There will also be a little launch gift, but to find out how to get it, you'll have to read to the end.

Spoiler alert: it's not for me to say, but the Mighty Nein art has turned out amazing.

Not enough neck for so many vampires...

This sentence sums up my party’s reaction when they saw Strahd accompanied by two characters whom I won't name because they haven't appeared in my campaign yet (or maybe they have, but someone hasn't put two and two together).

I finally got to scratch that itch of mine by creating an illustration of Barovia and our dark lord after so much campaigning. Although I still need a matching DM screen...

This was the perfect excuse to experiment with the color palette a little and add those dramatic red effects (like me) that I love so much. But what else will the shadows bring us?

Critical Art

You know when you do something and then later you can't figure out how you did it? Welcome to the life of an artist. That's what happened to me with this illustration, which has been an emotional roller coaster (shout out to Saúl, who saw it firsthand).

But it was all worth it, and look how beautiful my dear Mighty Nein turned out.

Joking aside, this illustration has been a challenge, like any one involving many elements, because in the end it's a puzzle in which you have to fit a lot of information together.

But the rush you get when you finally roll a nat 20 and everything fits together looking so beautiful is incomparable.

So now you know , if you take this print home, it comes imbued with artist's tears, which give you a +1 on willpower rolls to avoid being crippled by self-criticism.

Ok, but how can I get them?

I'm glad you asked that very timely question!

Oh my goodness, I'm freaking out like when I have to make two NPCs talk to each other.
