This is one of my favourite RPGs

It may be yours too

Wonderful Friday, adventurer!

Today it’s the 1st of August.

Proper summer has arrived!

And by summer, I mean holidays.

Even us wizards need a bit of leisure time.

But worry not!

During this month I don’t plan to leave you unattended.

I’ll be sending you recommendations of my favourite RPGs.

Fresh and sweet, like a popsicle!

Hunt giant monsters and cook them!

KC Shi, the author, surely did a big change of setting from writing Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound

Name of the game: Wilderfeast.

Something I love about it: The roll system uses a style (for example, Mighty) and a skill (for example, Strike), ending in a Mighty Strike that gives you a small prompt to describe your action narratively. Genious stuff!

A fond memory I have: It’s the first game I played with my current TTRPG group. It was great for newcomers since it is very rules-light compared to, for example, D&D, but it still has a lot of depth.

You’ll like it if you enjoy: Monster Hunter, cooking and eating with friends, Dungeon Meshi.

Bountiful quests and successful rolls!
