Greetings, adventurer!

Happy eclipse week.

We hope you were able to enjoy it in all its glory, what a spectacle!

Saúl and I are still recovering from it.

But this week I promised you updates on the Kickstarter, and a promise is a promise.

Here are some previews of the character sheet, dates, and photos of some of the rewards.

We have an official date!

First things first.

The Kickstarter launch will coincide (almost) with another extremely important date.

Almost as important as the eclipse.

And if Saúl forgets about it, he knows he’ll face my terrible wrath.

My birthday.

So mark October 1 on your calendar, that’s when you’ll be able to back our campaign and get your hands on our gorgeous D&D notebook.

And while you’re at it, if you’d like to send me a little birthday message on October 2, you’ll make this wizard very happy.

In any case, the campaign will be announced on the Kickstarter page starting September 1, where you can follow it and check out promotional material.

I’m going to be a total pain in September to make sure you don’t forget,you’ll thank me later.

The final design touches

These past few weeks, I’ve been working nonstop to incorporate all the feedback I’ve received from newsletter readers so I can send the final version of the workbook to the printer.

And I want to tell you about some of these new features.

First, by popular demand, there will be a digital version of the notebook.

So that those of you who play online won’t be left out.

Continuing with the theme of digital content, I want to provide a set of digital templates so you can print out portraits and spells in the correct dimensions to include them in the workbook.

Another improvement, which I don’t know why I didn’t think of sooner, is that we’ll include magic and combat cheat sheets in their respective sections to save you the pain of constantly checking the Player’s Handbook.

So, if you want to know whether your Fireball will hit that goblin hiding behind a column, you won’t need to dig through the book to find the “cover” rules.

You’ll know right away that, sure enough, grilled goblin is on the menu tonight.

And now, my favorite part…

The Rewards!

Specifically, I want to tell you about two Kickstarter exclusive rewards, this means you can only get them through the campaign.

I’m starting to receive some really exciting little packages at home with the first samples of this wonderful bags that matches the notebook.

You know, so you can take it to your gaming sessions without worrying about damaging that super cute cover with its gold embossing.

Special shout-out to Saúl, who inspired me when I saw him carrying his notebook in a plastic bag.

I also have the first prototypes of the exclusive dice set, featuring a color palette that obviously matches the notebook.

This section still needs some work, so you still have time to suggest some cool ideas.

We're signing off for this week and getting ready to kick it into high gear to prepare for everything that's coming up.
